Invoking the busy, bustling energy of a beehive, the Splügen Braü—a creation by the famed Castiglioni brothers—feels both charming and decidedly powerful. Polished and protected with transparent paint, the spun aluminum reflector provides clean, direct light. There is a steel ceiling fitting, as well as a vacuum-formed ABS rose with a white gloss finish.

Inspiration behind the design: What is more industrious than a beehive? Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni were known for their ability to take everyday objects and re-imagine them with a a unique, industrialized spin. Here, they drew their inspiration from a beehive; bustling with energy and remarkably efficient.
